Why Should I Want to Create a Blog?

With all the opportunities available online to make money why would anyone want to create a blog? Isn’t that hard work?
Well the misconception that blogging is complicated is a common one. Fact is a blog is the perfect platform for just about any type of online business. Its effectiveness and simplicity is surpassed by no other means found on the internet today!
Let’s look at 5 reasons why you would want to use a blogging platform for your online business:
1) Very Economical - The expense affiliated with maintaining a blog is marginal at best. Some blogs are free and even the most popular blogs would cost less than $100.00 annually to set up and maintain!
2) Simplicity and Speed - In little or no time you could have your blog up and live on the internet. There isn’t any coding you’ll need to learn. If you can negotiate MS word you can blog! With all the available widgets there is little or need need to fuss with any coding what-so-ever!
3) Your Blog has Uniqueness! - With a blog you are able to give it a personality that is usually yours or perhaps one that reflects the subject matter of the blog itself. In any event there is a satisfying feeling in knowing there is NOT another blog out there exactly like yours. This uniqueness will help in building your blog traffic over time. This is especially important if you are running any business blogs.
4) It is easier to be found on the internet. Blogs are VERY popular with search engines due to content that is ‘usually’ updated frequently. The more current you keep your content the higher search engines will generally rank you. Of course this is also relative to the quality of the content you post and the amount of blog traffic you have coming to your site.
5) Maintaining a blog can be downright enjoyable. Once you get familiar with your blog and you start ‘connecting’ with your readers, you will find your research and posting is more like play and less like work. If you are maintaining business blogs the more traffic you attract the more sales you make, and again more enjoyable!
If your intent is to make money using your computer from the comforts of home you just may want to create a blog. The ease and cost efficiency of setting up blog sites makes this type of marketing platform very attractive. The effectiveness of its marketing capabilities makes it a no-brainer!
